my other animals

This is a rabbit whose mother is unknown. We do not know what happened to it.
This is an interesting bird we saw outside a McDonalds on the way to D.C.

This was a friendly squirrel in D.C.

This is the nose of our cow Milly.

Dear little chicks...

Here is a blind rooster, Homer. I saved his life (ask me about it).

Here is my calf, Tiny Tim.

We have had many chicks.

My other animals

Anna, our great pyrenees dog is a sweetheart. She has had three batches of puppies.
We love her!!!

Mittens

There is a better picture of him.

I have a cat, Mittens. He is the most fabulous cat. Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

My Home (part 1)

Here are some pictures of my home.

We got a huge amount of snow last winter, and we tunneled through it.

There are also pictures of home on the farm and a sunset.

Washington D.C.

I haven't at all shown any pictures from Washingon. ... Here are some pictures.

One of the days we were there was September eleventh. As you can see, the flag was at half staff.

On our way to Washington D.C., we traveled through Sharpsburg (Antietam Battlefield), and I saw this cannon ball lodged in the side of a building. It was amazing!

There is also a view from across the tidal basin of the Jefferson Memorial.

While we were at Arlington at the Kennedy's grave, we saw Marine One (or a look-alike) fly over. That was neat!

Nicaraguan landscape

When we went to Nicaragua, we were able to visit Masaya volcano (above) . It was incredible! We threw rocks down and only like 20 seconds later did we hear a dull thud! Wow!
Below is Lake Catarina. In the distance, you can barely see the city of Granada. I took this picture.

Nicaraguan beauty

This picture was NOT taken by my friend.

This was at Masaya Mountain outside Managua, Nicaragua.

When we went to Nicaragua on a missions trip, my friend too many pictures of the beautiful flowers there. All these pictures were grown right on the missions compound. Of course, we went there to help the Nicaraguans and to be salt and light to the earth, not to look at flowers!
