Washington D.C.
I haven't at all shown any pictures from Washingon. ... Here are some pictures.
One of the days we were there was September eleventh. As you can see, the flag was at half staff.
On our way to Washington D.C., we traveled through Sharpsburg (Antietam Battlefield), and I saw this cannon ball lodged in the side of a building. It was amazing!
There is also a view from across the tidal basin of the Jefferson Memorial.
While we were at Arlington at the Kennedy's grave, we saw Marine One (or a look-alike) fly over. That was neat!

This is an interesting photograph of General Custard ( I am not sure how to spell his name) and his wife. Her dress is really pretty!

1840 thru 1860 in Fashion
~Above is the dress that I am going to pattern my next reenactment dress after.~
Here are two very stylish young ladies in their evening gowns in the early 1860s.
This is a drawing of several people representing both men and women in the 1850s.

This one is 1840s, but I still like it.
